Naples, , 23 August 1883 A.l.s. unpublished, 48 lines written in violet ink on a bifolium 211x135 mm. Letterhead: Comitato Provinciale per Disatri dell’Isola d’Ischia. In excellent state. Unpublished letter written to an unidentified, and probably French, General by the President of Naples District, lamenting the “immensity of the disaster” occurred in Ischia. San Donato headed up the Provincial Commission grounded for overcoming the emergency.
